KST World Corp. sells silicon materials which are made as a by-product of semiconductor wafer production, to photovoltaic companies. These are mainly used to produce solar wafers.

Semiconductor Silicon Ingot: Silicon ingot should be cut for wafers but uncut ingot, as it is, can be used as materials for semiconductor, solar products or silicon components.

Top and Tail: Tops and Tails are by-products when made by cutting silicon ingot to make wafers and are used as materials for solar products.

Pot Scrap: When pulling up silicon ingot from the quartz pot, silicon adheres and remains on quartz pot. This silicon chunk on the pot can be used as solar materials after removed the quartz from silicon chunk. Usually, it is called Pot Scrap.

Polysilicon-Chunk: Polysilicon(chunk) is originally materials to make semiconductor silicon ingot but it can also be used to make the quality of solar wafer higher. The size of polysilicon is mainly about 5-6cm.

Polysilicon-Granular: Granular is consisting of small silicon granules and its silicon purity is not higher than polysilicon chunk. But it is the merit that the production cost is much cheaper than polysilicon chunk.
